I believe in "brain ghosts". I believe that people experience things that to them are so weird that they feel inclined to believe in ghosts. My interest in psychology has led me to try and understand these things as false/incomplete interpretations of the world by of our minds, as there are so many effects that have been studied - optical illusions being perhaps the best and most obvious. I believe in a lot of things, and ghosts are absolutely one of them. I believe that after people or animals pass they can come back as spirits to watch over their loved ones.
It is no contradiction to my Christian beliefs to say that I believe in ghosts. I have seen many ghosts. In fact, I see them all the time. I confess, I still don't believe in ghosts. I keep an open mind, but so far, I'm not convinced. Nevertheless, I love true ghost stories.
